Biography

Dr Edwin Mit is a Associate Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, UNIMAS. He hold a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science, 1994 (UKM), MSc (Dist) in Software Engineering, 1998 (Bradford, UK), and PhD in Software Engineering, 2008 (Salford, UK), specialize in the area of formal methods software engineering. His research interest is modelling quality software by using formal approach. He has involved in several research projects such as Modelling Indigenous Community Knowledge (ISITI) and Language (SALT), Computerised Automative Technology Reconfiguration (CATER), Manufacturing Industry Information and Command Infrastructure (MIICI), He was appointed as a Deputy Director at Strategic Planning, Quality and Risk Management Centre (2016 - ), Deputy Dean, Research & Postgraduate (2013-2015), Head, Department Computing and Software Engineering (2007-2013), Head, Software Engineering Program (1998-2002), Coordinator iPMO (2009-2011), chairman for several conferences; MySEC'18, CITA’15, Postgraduate Colloquium 2010, Formal Method Workshop, FM’08, (2008).
