Biography

Dr Shapiee Abd Rahman is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UINIMAS). He obtained his BSc in Management Science from the University College of Swansea (Wales, U.K.), MSc in Industrial Statistics from the University of Waikato (NZ), and PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Aizu (Japan). He has conducted mathematics-related courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels which included Discrete Mathematics, Mathematics for Computing, Operational Research, Statistical Data Analysis, and Multivariate Statistics. His research interests include regression analysis, statistical process control, experimental design and data mining. He has published numerous papers in journals and conference proceedings and has involved in a number of research grants.
