Biography

Hamizan binti Sharbini received her Bachelor Degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) from Universiti Tekonologi Petronas (UTP) Perak, Malaysia, in 2006. She then worked as a tutor in Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak in 2007. She furthered her study in Master degree majoring in Computer Science in 2009-2010 in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor, Malaysia. In 2010, she came back to the faculty and currently worked as lecturer. Her master thesis focused on crowd behavior modelling in panic situation using Social Force Model, with comparison with other existing models such as cellular automata, agent based model etc. Her research interest includes the area of crowd behavior modelling (hybrid model), optimization and artificial intelligent.
