Biography

Lim is attached to the Faculty of Computer Science & Information Technology as a lecturer since 2006. A product of the faculty itself, he graduated with the first batch of Multimedia Computing Programme students. He stayed on to serve his Alma mater, first as a Tutor and then continuing to a Masters qualification in Bioinformatics before residing in his current position. With a keen interest in statistical modeling specifically in the area of network modelling in biological field, his initial dabble in research covered areas such as climate modelling (wind profiles generation), ethical policies for biometrics/medical data and disease transmission modelling. Now Lim is focused on network modelling of the transmission of vector-borne disease, big data applications and STEM initiatives via gamification .
