Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology
Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, also known as FCSIT, was established in 1992. Since then, the faculty has successfully graduated about 4,512 undergraduate and postgraduate students. Currently, FCSIT has 69 academic staff, of which four are Professors, 15 Associate Professors, and 39 senior lecturers and 11 lecturers.
The faculty offers two 4-year Bachelor degree programmes: Bachelor of Computer Science with Honours (BCS) and Bachelor of Software Engineering (BSE). The BCS programmes offer 4 majors; Computational Science, Multimedia Computing, Network Computing and Data Engineering.
FCSIT also offers PhD and Master by Research and two Master by Coursework programs, namely Master in Information Technology Management and Master in Computer Science.
FCSIT regularly organises industry-level certifications for the students as value added programs. As of now more than 500 faculty students have obtained technical and career certificates from Microsoft, AWS, Huawei and Google.
